PeterP Posted 2June, 2015 Report Share Posted 2June, 2015 Hi, I have seen various posts regarding the numbers of various models imported into Oz, so,apologies if this is a double up. I am interested and have looked online to see if I can find out how many 78 911 SC's were delivered here......I can't find a thing. Anybody got any ideas? I have heard in the past that it was around 107 but can't confirm anything......if anybody has any details, that at would be great.......if anyone knew that info by color, it would be like Xmas.. Cheers

911barber Posted 2June, 2015 Report Share Posted 2June, 2015 according to my authenticity certificate 1980 62 came to the country, assume thats all 911 coupes or a mix of coupes targas or cabs, not sure about that, but the volume number says
Russ Posted 2June, 2015 Report Share Posted 2June, 2015 1977 is 47 according to my CoA too - not sure if that's 911 or 928/924/911's - maybe someone should ask Harry
Dreamr Posted 3June, 2015 Report Share Posted 3June, 2015 When I bought my car, I spoke to Harry regarding the matching numbers ... that was where I got the numbers for the coupes delivered in '81 and '82. The reason I found out about those 2 particular years is that the original colour of my car was only made in those 2 years and got it broken into how many were delivered in that colour over those 2 years ...As cabs weren't available in those 2 years, that would make 19 targa's in '81 and 28 targa's in '82 .... if Robs numbers are correct. Pedro Posted 7June, 2015 Report Share Posted 7June, 2015 Extremely useful and fascinating numbers. I am taken by how few cars in total were delivered through that period, let alone how many are still around today in Ok condition.
