Currently on hold to Telstra trying to prove I live in my house (and am not trying to pay to connect Foxtel to someone else ******* house???) so with luck I'll be enjoy this on the weekend! :)

Safe to say I won't be getting much done around the house this weekend.

X 2!

At least I won't miss and Porsche racing when I have a gig Sunday arvo.

Matt Cambell for a clean sweep I reckon. Fast kid that one. He just got back from Europe with the factory Porsche junior tests. Big future ahead methinks

Here guys, weathers great good track conditions. Longhurst just binned his car out for the weekend I would suggest. As he's not a regular I reckon they will not put the effort in.

I'm not getting on the soap box as I'd never have the balls to jump in a cup car around Bathurst. But, someone who's raced V8SC for years should know better than to line the track with coolant like that. Strange thought process.

I saw a team change the front subframe/tub at Clipsal earlier this year. New subsection supplied from the Porsche trailer, drill out welds and rivets on old bent sub frame, followed by lots of bashing with hammers to get it off. New one in.

Ahh for the old days, if it was AC - no messy problem!

Can't open the link mate. I was going to say the same thing re his temper. Well known for being arrogant too

Good on him for having another crack at racing again, yet Carrera cup at Bathurst?

Yes I have been around him before at cams social events and have found him to be someone I would not wish to spend to much time around ,,,,he is with out a doubt an accomplished driver and I have the greatest respect for his achievements ,I just do not find him a nice approachable  fellow ....agree good on him for stepping back into racing but as others have mentioned why would you dump all that coolant on the track ,,after all he is a seasoned driver and not some young rookie   ...........

It is interesting to watch the video and see that as soon as the cars came to rest he leaped out so quickly ..............every time I get in or out of my track car it takes me several minutes at best to get the belts on or off an I am only a skinny little fellow ,,,Tony must have been un belting him self as the cars were in the process of sliding and finally coming to rest .... I too believe Morris was the instigator in that situation  ,,but Longhursts reaction was not a dignified one and he looked like a Dick ...............:D

Bet if your car was on fire it wouldn't take minutes.

PM looks a little dazed at the end of that one doesn't he.

Yeah, seems to be the norm with support races nowadays. Win or bin, then the safety car for 2 or 3 laps. Shame, as Carrera Cup has always been one of the classes thats pretty reliable to not have that! Unlike the ute series. About time they dumped that
