T-Man Posted 17July, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 17July, 2012 yes, the 'all black' makes a big difference - thought it may be worth adding it to the mix! Yes, added to the mix of confusion!! I even emailed GT3Tek in the US today on a body kit price. Same kit as the photo. I really need to decide on these rims!
J.J. Posted 17July, 2012 Report Share Posted 17July, 2012 just to make your life easier, how about these rims, i think they really suit the lines of the 993, would look insane on your car
T-Man Posted 17July, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 17July, 2012 They are the new Fuchs. Very cool modern retro styling. Would not even dare ask a price. RSR Garage in Melbourne are distributing I think.
J.J. Posted 17July, 2012 Report Share Posted 17July, 2012 you should get a quote before you push the button on the other rims, can't hurt if you like them
Chris-p Posted 17July, 2012 Report Share Posted 17July, 2012 They are over triple the price of the Veloce wheels. In fact I can point you in the direction of geniune RS speedlines for similar money.... C
T-Man Posted 17July, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 17July, 2012 The Veloce wheels will cost me about $2K landed. The Fuchs are about 950Euro for a 19". Let's say the 18's are a little cheaper. We are talking about $5-5.5K. Granted, really nice wheels, but if I was going to spend that sort of coin I'd stretch a little more and go genuine RS. By the way, I think the silver is looking the favourite at this stage. But I could change my mind by tomorrow!

T-Man Posted 29July, 2012 Author Report Share Posted 29July, 2012 Ooops! Sorry, wrong upload!!!!!!!!!!! Chris came over on the weekend and we installed his new Fister Stage-2 mufflers. Sound absolutely amazing! Anyhow he was good enough to allow me to put his rims on my car to get a better idea of the silver wheels. We are now done. Silver it is. Chris-p Posted 30July, 2012 Report Share Posted 30July, 2012 Gotta be speed line RS, which are what Theo's wheels are modeled on. If Porsche deem them worthy to go on the king of 993's the GT2 who I am to argue.... C
