I reckon to build one here would cost about AUD $150k. MAX

Less alot of bespoke stuff.

Base 964, G50 6 Speed, 3.8 964/993 motor.

Base Car Circa $50k

Engine $25k

Trans $20k

Body paint etc.... $25k

and thats if I did all the work myself putting together etc.....

Can get the wheels easily enough.

Still, wont have carbon roof or guards etc..........

Bugger it, just get a 993 RS?

The Healey Factory in Melbourne had a red hand built car that looked very similar to the Singers, all brand new. Built by Phil Hearn from Auto Coupe. I'm pretty sure it was also built off a 964, it was a beauty and pretty sure it sold for around $100 - 120k mark.

Maybe one of the local guys will jump in with more info on it. I think Niko saw it there.

Or a 964RS... hold on, D'Oh!!! :o:rolleyes:

What is different between the RS's and a Singer, is the level of bespoke finesse they put into them. The internals just look gorgeous, not to mention the long bonnet fatness, or phatness, and the trick paintwork (a la Hugh's stripiness). RS's are striped out menaces, Singer's are aesthetiques! (sorry, just made up a word!)

As for the drive, OK, the RS!

Everyone has left the office.

Cranked up the speakers. Maximised the video to use the computer monitor to its 24 in of fullness (i know, not as good as a telly).

Leaned back in the office chair...and watched...and enjoyed :)

Thx Wasser.

I wonder if we will ever see one in Oz?
