Looking forward to Sunday.. Maybe it would be an idea to post an invitation for Sundays drive on the FB Classic Porsche Australia group too.?

Alex

Note new start time. Please nominate your start Point E.Donny or CFA Coldstream. This for this PFA Forum, small group is fine.

Also in, new to the group but real keen on a drive...

Welcome MikeR, If you have a radio bring it along. Should be back before mid afternoon but you can always peel off earlier.

Seeing you are new to the group have a read of SMT rules SMT Guidelines and Etiquette at the top of SMT Topic.

Are you starting from Maccas East Doncaster or meeting us at Coldstream CFA ?

Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark

Been a while since I’ve done a drive with the Forum but would really like to join tomorrow’s drive

Do you still have room for one other?

Cheers, Nathan

BTW - I’ll do a Coldstream start

Aw man, I would've loved to come along to this. Alas my partner went out last night and (wisely) decided she'd stay at her friend's, so I'm home with the kids this morning! Time to figure out some 3YO- and 5YO-friendly seating in the 944T, haha.

Have fun guys, I'll look forward to meeting you all next time!

Big thanks to Mark for organising, planning out the drive and doing an awesome job with the radio up front.

Shoutout to Mrs. Monty for taking care of radio duties at the back of the line and making sure we didn't loose anyone.

Great early trip through Yarra Valley, Alexandria for breakfast and some twisty action around Eildon. Some of us took the long and twisty way home with some late lunch in Yarra Glen.

All in all an excellent day out with like minded enthusiasts.

As the @NikoB.B.C didn't make an appearance it was disqualified from the "Peoples Choice Award" and was awarded to Alex's "Mint" 968 Cab

Same here , thank you to everybody Sarah brilliant on the radio , mark keeping us informed from the front. A perfect day! Very proud of Marci , my significant better half. After 3 years of being too scared to be my navigator , she jumped in today , got thoroughly tested in those twisties , and passed with A+ Grade / flying colors. I was advised she might take the wheel in one of these days , for me to shit myself on the 😂t.

Thanks guys for the comments, we aim to please. Good to have Sarah's female voice on the radio keeping the group on track, and nice to know Marci was stirring up Arnie.

Great to see Alex winding up that beautiful 968 and dancing it through the tight bits. Everyone on the way home had a turn leading on the backroads and did a stirling job, big smiles all round. Until next time - 😄😄😄

Cheers, Mark. 🙃

A day behind the wheel doesn't get much better than today. Great mix of cars and company on superb unknown B roads offering a full day workout with next to no traffic!

Thank you Mark for guiding us on a few more of your endless collection of twisties. And the rest of the crew today for making it an awesome autumn jaunt!

460km added to the odometer.

A big thanks to Mark for organising todays SMT and for leading the way through same amazing back roads, and to everyone else on the drive today for making Minty and myself feel very welcome.. 😀 And Minty is very honored to receive the Peoples Choice Award.. She thoroughly enjoyed being able to finally stretch her legs and blow the cobwebs out of the exhaust after spending close to 3 months being locked up while in transit from Denmark. 😎  I hope the weather stays mild and there will be more SMT's before winter sets in.. Can't wait to explore more of the beautiful Victorian country side and to meet more of you guys and your beautiful Porsche cars..

Some sexy rear ends.. Whats not to like..!

Time to get the top down on Minty and enjoying the sunshine..

Stunning scenery, it was hard to keep my eyes on the road with such views..

Darn - didn’t think anyone would notice my “soft option” for the Sunday drive 😉

Reckon I need to toughen up for my Alpine drive in 3 week’s time.

It’s gonna be the 3.0L everyday with no soft options available!
