I have been reading my book of old 928 road tests and keep seeing this.

Another reason the 928 is so good, it is mid (front) engined :)

It's like a faithful dog...it never bites the driver!

The new GT3 with all its wizardry is apparently the same. Anyone can drive it very fast. You do pay a premium for all that "so we can justify the rear engine" wizardry.
