Well Jim you are truly of the 30min drive - 3hrs clean brigade!

My update re leather is that plain old German Nivea is the duck's guts on old school thick leather. Rubbed in with your fingers , left to dry overnight then wipe of XS.

Wish I had time for all that every time! - The bulleted items are usually as needed / when I have time.

Can't get too obsessive as I use it everyday...

  • Meguiars Scratch X
  • Meguiars - Tech Wax 2.0

+1 on the Meguires Tech Wax 2.0, i've been using that for a few months and it is very easy to apply and take off and last's on the car for a while too.

Dodo Juice. Silly name, fantastic product. They are colour biased towards your paint, and after applying it 6 months ago, and getting caught in some East Coast low weather the other weekend, the wax is still beading water like a good'un.

I had some scratches on the rear hatch lock panel that i wasn't happy with so i cut it back with some of this

if anyone uses this be careful because it cuts paint back, i didn't use a machine it was all done by hand, i then applied some of this to bring back the shine

It's hard to show the finish properly but it still has some deep scratches which i will go over again
