Scott930 Posted 23December, 2014 Report Share Posted 23December, 2014 Maybe try contacting Detlef at Swan Porsche, I have got a few random used things for my 930 from him over the years and found him to be very helpful and reasonably priced...http://www.swanporsche.com.au/index.php/contact-us/

Ben C3.o Posted 22February, 2015 Report Share Posted 22February, 2015 I've been in contact with the seller and asked for a picture of the underside. Will post the pic when I get to the office.
Shady Speedway Posted 22February, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 22February, 2015 They never left the factory with an indent rather than a second grill as far as I know.

Coastr Posted 23February, 2015 Report Share Posted 23February, 2015 Well, I have no idea. The filled-in grill seems odd to me. And you'd have to find a grill to go in that spot. It's definitely a metal frame though.
Shady Speedway Posted 23February, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 23February, 2015 is there any numbers stamped in the metal frame would be my question
turboT Posted 24February, 2015 Report Share Posted 24February, 2015 will this fit? Looks like Autohaus are about to rip it off and replace with a duck tail http://autohaushamilton.com.au/news/2.7-targa-build-update-

Coastr Posted 2March, 2015 Report Share Posted 2March, 2015 I finally found someone advertising repros. I also read a tip for getting the rubber lip look - just mask it and paint with the rubberised truck bed liner paint, then paint black over the top. Could work for a stop-gap until you track down a real one. You wouldn't have any problem moving the old one I don't think. https://www.gt-racing.com/products-page/911-tails-decks-and-wings/911-whale-tail/

Coastr Posted 13March, 2015 Report Share Posted 13March, 2015 Ouch. That's a pricey bit of rubber. I'm surprised nobody is making repros for that sort of cost!
