Summit Racing have them for $1035 USD: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rnr-5175185

Then you have to add shipping: $ 826 USD for DHL Express

Then there would be GST and the other charges on top of that again. Oh what's the exchange rate at the moment?

Plus there is the 110v issue to address too.

Bugger, but great idea!

Actually alternatives aren't that much different in price: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Mid-Rise-Scissor-Lift-Car-Hoist-Vehicle-Hoist-Lift-3Ton-/121489496955?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c49569b7b

except for this one:

Although its pretty cool and convenient, with only a 508mm lifting height it is an expensive way to change wheels

Yes as you say steve, not bad for the track bit low for the shed, My mate has the blue lift 56" clearance you can get under the car on a stool just beut if the back is stuffed.
