The specialist enthusiast one. At the end of the day , one insures to replace like with like. Well , that's how I operate. The more that get molested , modified or damaged , the harder it gets. You have to pay more premiums , but that's the cost of membership.

I have found Shannons helpful with a number of my cars, in terms of agreed value. For instance my Carrera 924 GT is insured for 100k. I feel this is reasonable considering the car is undergoing a resto and previously manipulated. I also insure with Rynos with other cars, and have done so for the last 15 plus years. They have been less flexible on there insured values. However I was pleased they reconsidered my R/T Charger from 60k to 100k with just a few images emailed. For the record the Dodge is worth every cent and more. Prior to this they required an independent valuation.  happened this week. Good news as Rynos are also very nice to deal with. And backed by a solid underwriter.

Not from what I've heard.

The one off the forum (one of the two on carsales) has taken a deposit, after one day I think (which is great news for him :) ) and the other has only been on less than a week. Interesting to see how it goes, sometimes cars take longer to sell at a dealer than privately.

Congrats! I think white is a practical colour for a Qld car. Exactly how far north are you?

It looks like both cars went to forum members then... I wonder who snagged Paul's silver one?

That tatty gear knob is such a non event .... it is easy to change and there are many used ones for sale in the UK and US that won't cost a lot but will certainly dress it up ....

Congrats .......

I know! Should be a good car if that's all we could pick on?

Yes, the AC would be a necessity in summer then. Even in Brisbane, no AC would be pretty unthinkable!

Unlike the aircooled cars, the AC actually works pretty well in the 944s -- particularly the update (post 85.5) models.

We got the air conditioning regassed in Jr's update 944 and it works so well, you have to turn it off after 10 mins as its too bloody cold in the cabin .....

I think people are starting invest in stock for their bunkers...Trump's effect on the world economy has quite a few worried.

Fortunately I bought up the baked beans when they were on special. Buy low , sell high.

If you're eating baked beans in the bunker you're sure to end up high!
