vl gra Posted 14September, 2016 Report Share Posted 14September, 2016 Hey guys and girls,Have recently purchased a 930 and don't like the wheels that are fitted. I am interested in having a stock look with maybe oversize Fuchs. Only problem I got Rob to email me pics with 18 inch fuchs fitted to a 930 and they looked a little funny. It was like they didn't have enough dish.May look at other aftermarket wheels if anyone has any suggestions? Thanks in advanceCam
OBRUT Posted 14September, 2016 Report Share Posted 14September, 2016 16" bbs were the choice back in the day. Still a great look.
turboT Posted 14September, 2016 Report Share Posted 14September, 2016 original fuchs you can't really beat. 15" is how the germans intended and they were right. Anything bigger than 16"looks wrongMagnus put a mix of 15's and 16's on mineHe also had a set of fifteen 52's in matte black which I am just about to orderStance and tyres also make a big difference

Porsche will order the 16s for you.Regards Rob Raymer. Sorry should be 8 X 16s.
clutch-monkey Posted 14September, 2016 Report Share Posted 14September, 2016 not much tyre choice in 16", i did find that 15" can be better in that respect. 16" is kind of an orphan wheel size now unfortunately
GUT Posted 14September, 2016 Report Share Posted 14September, 2016 I've been playing with 17's on mine for a while. They're Zuffenhaus 3 piece. I think they're 8's and 9's.They look pretty good to me. I will go back to the original 16's, just for originality's sake. But the 17's work well IMO. Not so sure about 18's.I could use a little bit of a drop in ride height which would make it look better. And centre caps would help too.If you want to see up close, let me know. I'm in Melbourne and more than happy to catch up to show you. Also, I might end up selling the 17's in case you're interested - by all accounts Zuffenhaus are an excellent wheel.

Might try the guys mentioned above
vl gra Posted 15September, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 15September, 2016 Thanks for the pics guys.I am thinking that the 16's look the best suited to the body shape. Don't know about the oversize fuchs, something looks a little funny but can't put my finger on it.Cheers

MrRPJ Posted 16September, 2016 Report Share Posted 16September, 2016 Since you want that style why not go the new gen ones that come in 18 and 19" and 11" wide http://thumbsnap.com/dIYcgmCq
BlitzKonig Posted 16September, 2016 Report Share Posted 16September, 2016 Not the same as listed above, I think these are 10.5 rears? What about Works Brombachers? I agree 18s make it look odd... 4x4-like almost, even with the height drop. Porsches need rubber, hence why the 16s on turboTs look so good. I reckon if you could find a set of 17s easy enough though.

vl gra Posted 16September, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 16September, 2016 Spoke to Cameron at classic wheels today. A set of 16x7 and 16x9 costs $2400 inc not too bad I reckon. Have to get centre caps and tyres though. Does anyone know the 930's original tyre sizes?
