Agreed, and unfortunately worth far more than I've got, don't think the Mrs would be happy if I sold the house to buy it. Oh wait, the house is in her name Asset protection can be a bugger sometimes. Ozvino Posted 12February, 2018 Report Share Posted 12February, 2018 I believe the Notchback was only ever produced in LHD; not a lot made, pretty rare car @f40-r is your car on Carsales? Was it also at the Throttle shop last year?
f40-r Posted 12February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 12February, 2018 The 356 is a US car. 1 owner in the US followed by 1 owner here in Sydney. It hasn’t been restored, all original running gear and interior apart from the carpets and rear seat retrim. The car has been serviced annually and comes complete with all the books and stamps. Quite a rare car, 1 of 700+ notchbacks. The car doesn’t need anything spent on it at all. I’ve just installed the refurbed steering wheel and radio with all resurfaced items. They were only delivered in LHD, very neat car.

Hughesy Posted 13February, 2018 Report Share Posted 13February, 2018 Is this the same car that was sold at auction by moss green at carriage works at the top of the market last year.
f40-r Posted 15February, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 15February, 2018 Correct. Car is reduced to $99,990, too many cars, lack of room and don’t have time to use it. This is pre-bubble pricing!
