Looks very good indeed.

$82K for a blue on blue '94! As a 993 owner, I hope he gets what he is asking.

I really don't understand some sellers and the lack of interior, engine bay and boot photos.

Yeah I know, odd interior photo shown.

All the same its a nice clean example. The 16" wheels are a small drawback but not a deal breaker. Nice set of Cup 2's would do it a great justice.

Do you still have your original whels Theo?

Certainly do, with a fairly new set or Hankook Ventus V12's.

I'm thinking about putting them on when I eventually do some driver training or track time.

Photos are terrible for an ad selling an $80k car.

For the guys that own 993's, there is a close up side photo of the rear bumper, is that panel gap normal ? Seems quite a gap and not particularly aligned

Dealer has got more chance simply because of the model itself.

$100K would be a reasonable price if the photos are a true indication of condition.

Wow. Can't believe the way the 993 prices are heading.

This seems to be a very nice example of an original, non-varioram '94.

If I was buying a 993 it would really pi$$ me off the way the prices are going...................I would have thought though that this would be a mid 70's car.

I have it on good authority this is a good car..... at a reasonable price: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1995/SSE-AD-1126386/?Cr=10

Cal, this is indeed an interesting car. The previous owner had emigrated to Australia from England and had the car up for sale early last year.

It has had some very nice work done and I spoke to that owner at length and even rang the service specialist in England who had maintained it.

Apart from the great history and presentation, the suspension had been set up by Centre Of Gravity who's reputation precedes them.

The wheels however are not genuine. They had "Speedline For Porsche" etched into them when they were refurbished.

I had my Sydney contact on the way to see the car for me when he got a call to say it had been sold.

I still have a heap of photos of this car which should be on the advert instead of the unflattering ones the current owner is using. Honestly, the current photos don't do it justice. It was very nicely presented and would have been a good car at the correct price.

I don’t know anything about the car but it absolutely amazes me some of the photos people post up on carsales that are trying to sell cars for big money.

I am convinced that 50% of the cars on carsales aren't actually trying to be sold.  Crappy photos with phone cameras.  Missing photos of engines, boots, interiors.  Photos of only one side of the car.  The list goes on.

Missus:   'sell that bloody thing - you never drive it anyway.....we could use the money for a holiday, or a pool'

Whipped Bloke: 'trying dear, its on carsales, but not a single call, I don't get it'
