Orion03 Posted 24November, 2013 Author Report Share Posted 24November, 2013 when parking down a hill, turn the wheel too, that way if it does run off, it'll turn and stop, i.e. into the kerb. But.. yeah I can feel the guys pain as he chased the car and failed.
qstoria Posted 24November, 2013 Report Share Posted 24November, 2013 That would be a terrible feeling indeed. I just hope his insurance company are good about it! Maybe I need to get in touch with this guy in case he is looking for a replacement. I will sell mine for a lot less than the $110K that the Telegraph are saying it is worth too!! Caver Posted 24November, 2013 Report Share Posted 24November, 2013 You can see how well balanced the car is, they're lifting it by the roll bar and it's sitting almost level, slightly nose down, no doubt due to the boot and cockpit being full of water. Guess they don't have to worry about the IMS anymore...
Airhead Posted 25November, 2013 Report Share Posted 25November, 2013 I saved a family member from drowning when I was a kid. I took my foot off my brothers head.
qstoria Posted 25November, 2013 Report Share Posted 25November, 2013 Guess they don't have to worry about the IMS anymore... Complete submersion is the only thing worse than total IMS failure

Russ Posted 25November, 2013 Report Share Posted 25November, 2013 you'd hope they could considering they're meant to do the same in a rollover
Harvs11 Posted 25November, 2013 Report Share Posted 25November, 2013 Buy the wreck. Strip EVERYTHING out and and bin it. Then rebuild as a track hack with a new electrics, motor and running gear. Keep an eye out for a bargain for someone willing to have a go.

CarreraG50 Posted 25November, 2013 Report Share Posted 25November, 2013 I think it's pickled enough after 8 days in that brine. Yeah Porsche should buy it to display their rustproofing prowess. All that salty goodness, would be interesting to see where the first rust bubbles appear.
