sleazius Posted 14May, 2014 Report Share Posted 14May, 2014 Really surprised they're making this, given how they've differentiated their products to protect their margins. My guess is they think that the only car that this will be competing with is a GT3, and can be priced accordingly (which will mean $200-250k in Australia). edgy Posted 14May, 2014 Report Share Posted 14May, 2014 more here... http://www.autoblog.com/photos/porsche-cayman-gt4-spy-shots-0/#photo-2614905 I'd be interested to hear the specs on this one... this could stir up some sales if they get it right! Mike D'Silva Posted 14May, 2014 Report Share Posted 14May, 2014 wow.. looks tough... I wonder if they are banking on the die-hard 911 fraternity always buying the 911, but for the Cayman GT4 to conquer sales that would have falled to another marque? FlatSix Posted 14May, 2014 Report Share Posted 14May, 2014 Ummm yes please! The big question though.....can you get it with 3 pedals? If so it will have one up on the GT3 in my opinion.

Pauly Posted 14May, 2014 Report Share Posted 14May, 2014 Seems similar the the 944 turbo vs 911 turbo back in 86.
T-Man Posted 14May, 2014 Report Share Posted 14May, 2014 The Cayman S as even a basic package is so appealing in both finish and performance. However, this iteration takes it to a whole new level of desirability. If I was in the market for a base model 911, though had no need for rear seats and a hunger for some serious raw performance, this would be it. Can't wait to see one in the flesh.
