ByronBayChris Posted 17August, 2014 Report Share Posted 17August, 2014 Seriously, it states except for the engine and seats, it is totally original. What about the front mounted radiator....... And the hone made gauges in the centre console. Ugly. No....fugly. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=171423361308&alt=web

LeeM Posted 17August, 2014 Report Share Posted 17August, 2014 Well going by the paint code (6809 Tangerine), it's not original colour either!

FlatSix Posted 17August, 2014 Report Share Posted 17August, 2014 what sort of self respecting 'Porsche expert shop' does that? Merica! I still don't know why you would go to all that trouble to fit of all things a Chev V6.
Uncle Posted 17August, 2014 Report Share Posted 17August, 2014 I don't know why you would fit a Chev V6 to anything. This includes cars that came with Chev V6's.
Pauly Posted 17August, 2014 Report Share Posted 17August, 2014 in respect to some of my american friends, but.. Damn 'Mericans!. the only country that knows how to turn something nice into junk in a matter of seconds. Chev engines are cheap and no easy way to put this.. Rubbish. anyone with half a brain would mount a 993 aircooled in it.. if the option was to make a rod.

Airhead Posted 18August, 2014 Report Share Posted 18August, 2014 Loving the wing nuts on the water pipe clamps under the car. Crush free zone too I think. Wiring pretty neat too. No Porsches were harmed in the making of the vehicle.
Panzerjager Posted 18August, 2014 Report Share Posted 18August, 2014 What has been seen, can never be unseen and based on what I see locally on Commodores, if it had been done in Australia the owner would have changed all the badges/crests to Chevrolet ones. If anyone is looking for me I will be off washing my eyes out with prepsol.
