Amanda, this car is at Max Ouzas prestige cars on Whitehorse Rd Balwyn and I am pretty certain their cars are on consignment. Bill sold a car for me about 11 years ago, it was not a very good experience for me.

Car looks nice and priced keenly as well.

Cup Wheels and Mirrors, great colour.

Its a Tip, but hey.........I reckon I could put up with that on this car. (Shhhhh, dont tell anyone)

Needs a robust PPI for all those items though.

Def worth a look.

It's always worth a look.  If you fall in love with it then get a thorough PPI etc, etc.  if no love then simply walk away with a bit more knowledge.

VAS930's red 3.2 looks the goods if you want something to play with on weekends & track days,  The 964 cab could be a great daily drive.

Happy hunting.

I have a trade in. Red 3.2 isn't possible.

Thanks for everyone's input.

The Tip isn't a huge issue. I just look at it being perfect for a forever car - when I'm a little old lady, easier to drive an Auto :)

Go for it then, go and have a look and a drive. Talk numbers before you engage a specialist for a PPI as you may be shocked at the trade in price they will offer you on your SLK.

If you can do a deal, make it subject to a PPI at your expense.

Is a convertible important to you Amanda?

This is a great colour (Mex?) and a classic. Front bar has had a crunch underneath, but I dare say that's not unusual for lots of our cars.

No rush Amanda. (There was a guy on the SMT today who payed $40K for a 993!!!). Be patient.

Thorough, thorough PPI.

I love Convertibles Theo, however I do understand the collectibility of a Coupe over a Cab. Also I love the classic 911 shape sans whale tail. So I do lose some of that look with the soft top. I also understand the cab roof is terribly expensive to replace if it goes.

So there is many pros n cons.

That one above is very pretty, the color is gorgeous.

Most 964 Front Bars are like that! They go that way even without a kerbing.

You can buy a little spacer / brace that sits behind it and keeps it looking nice and even.

I really like the car, or at least the way it looks.

One of my Favourite colours, it looks to be Riviera Blue. However it could be Mexico Blue, they are very similar colours.

Riviera Blue was around in the early 90's on the 911, 968 and 928's.

The other 964s I've looked at had a frowny front bumper too. No biggie. These cars are old, I don't expect them to be flawless but I do expect a 6 year old $130k Mercedes Benz to be well built!!

Yes today my cup holder doovahickie kicked the bucket! I'm not rough with cars either. It's a worry!

Didn't realise the '64 bumpers were like that. Learn something new...........

Real sports cars don't need cup holder doovahickies anyway Amanda.

Car looks pretty impressive Amanda but what's with the sellers description.

They are talking through their you know what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but these cowboys really annoy me.
