What's next

Next up is a brake upgrade by Promotive and a suspension upgrade and tweaking at Murray Coote.

This will be followed by replacing the front and rear bumper bars with the IROC bars, an IROC whale tail for the track will be sourced and a quick release deck lid fabricated so I can use the ducktail on the street and IROC tail on the track. A full respray and replacing the decals with Porsche script as per the IROC cars will follow.

Finally the engine and trans will get a refresh once they need it with some extra displacement to make things a bit more interesting. There is just 20,000k on the motor since a complete rebuild in 2000 so its still very strong.

Cheers Al

Did you get it done?

Not Yet! I have been busy with my Day job and doing some final jobs on the 912, but I will be applying the stickers very soon.

Does that mean you'll add a tail too? Yours is tail delete isn't it?

Yep, mine came from the factory with no Spoilers, Carrera Script and Cookie cutter wheels! (I have a photo of it when it was new)

Its a UK Spec Non sport model.

I really do like them sans spoilers and if I was to put the spoiler on I'd have to source an original fiberglass and Alloy framed unit which are expensive and rare(same as the original 930's from 1975-1977).

I think the script will give it a more in your face menace, whereas at the moment it looks quite tame(until it starts up)

76, add "" before each link, and then add "" at the end. (without the quotes)

Edit.

I'm trying to type the word IMG between two square brackets, but it keeps converting it to an image. So you need {Img} at the start and {/img} at the end.

Just replace the } with ] etc
