JV would be wanting GT2 money ;)

I’m really disappointed that I missed out on this. I had organised with the seller to inspect/buy this car tomorrow but was gazumped by another buyer who snapped it up for $45k before I could make it despite having already agreed with the seller. Had I of known that this was the situation; I’d have taken a day off work and done an overnight trip to get it. A real beauty of a find, 912, UK RHD delivered car and owned by its current owner since ’82. The car had no rust and was lead swiped all those years ago. Whoever got it did really well.

On that note, I'm still keen to find a clean car. Anyone with leads can PM me. I’m a serious buyer looking for genuine seller. I have a lead on another but it may be out of my price range.

I was really disappointed when I missed out on this car and it would've gone to an enthusiast. Instead, It got sold for $45k and now Autohaus want over $100k

The ever changing price 928. I have lost count how many times this seller has "adjusted" his price over the past week or so.....

Not sure, but his price has varied from $8k to $14k in the past week and a bit, up and down everywhere. It looks like it could be a good, clean car from the photos. Just need to take that rear wing off and maybe paint the wheels! Could get it cheap!

Turns out that particular 912 also has the wrong guards and wrong tail lights among other things also for that 115k price tag.

Just had Autohaus ring me and explain to me how their business works. Apparently they don't presell their cars and then put them on the web. The cars are genuinely unsold when listed, and they have prewarnwd their list of buyers that a car is coming.

Thanks to Scott for taking the time to call me and clear that up. It does explain a lot of their sales.

Chris , Byron suffers from smal town syndrome , the Porsche/PFA world moreso

Remember the walls have ears and the rumbles and mutterings over the PFA that get transported on the drone of porsche engine tone reach far and wide ;)

I wonder if we forget that most of this content is publicly available and googleable , you just try your own username...

For me , I still feel a lot f these market sales by many are just trying to hype prices and are just trying to create a market.. good on them for trying to find the top, all of the Players out there enjoy , just keep your poker face on folks

I want to know who has these big deal cars…. Money talks bullshit walks.

I wanna see these GT3's screaming down the road , avidly chased by an enthisiast in an air cooled TT ,  RS it up all the way I say.. where the hell are all thiese cars .. in the halls of garage queen history ???

As for the AC market at the moment , judging by that 930 earlier this week an a few other not so gems.. we maybe scraping the bottom of a very dirty barrel.. and we all know that thats a 20-30k journey into the abyss when you look at SC;s, 3.2'S and 930's when yo dont know what your buying

Good way to pulp your renal parenchyma whilst destroying your undercarriage, on Australian roads.

The big deal cars ? Look for the pretty girls and you'll find the owners nearby

I had this same conversation with them once.  Getting on the top of that list is not simple and I gather it is pretty long.  It's not also confined to people in Australia, as Mr Walker can confirm.

Move to Europe. Cars are much much cheaper and they have the correct roads to use them as maker intended.

Or build a garage and enjoy coveting neighbours.

yeah, but good luck finding a house with a decent garage unless you find something already set up for it!

Ha! I didn't even read the ad description!  Great marketing approach by the dealer... "You're probably too stupid to buy this car"

Rare alright...probably a 1of1 example wee yellow/poo brown because no one else was stupid enough to order one.

no way factory order yellow/brown.  Brown was big in early eighties.  That yellow car originally gold/brown/beige/champagne for sures.
