martin Posted 6January, 2014 Report Share Posted 6January, 2014 After i posted a thread yesterday about getting my wheels refurbished it got me thinking. What options for different wheels do you have for the 964? i know most people put cup 1's on but i wondered if it was possible to fit older style fuchs wheels? or does it have to be the new fuchs rims? from memory i think the new ones are mega expensive and can only be bought via RSR in Melbourne. clutch-monkey Posted 6January, 2014 Report Share Posted 6January, 2014 964 offsets will mean you need custom fuchs or new style ones i think. for the price involved there are many other custom options, unless you really want fuchs!
OZ930 Posted 6January, 2014 Report Share Posted 6January, 2014 Do you know someone that has a set of Fuchs so you can try before you buy ? Different models, different offsets. There is always the spacer option and you will have 17" wheels. This might help: http://www.fuchsfelge.de/index.php?id=336&L=1 Quite a few manufacturers O/S of 17" Fuchs copies. Tit Posted 7January, 2014 Report Share Posted 7January, 2014 I lust after CCWs and they are quite good value when you compare the multi piece rim market. LM20s won't fit though as they can't go to 5x130 pcd. The 964 has quite high offsets which dampens your 'dish' options unfortunately. Go look up black Betty on rennlist to see proper BBS figment. So sweet. Love the rotiforms on Brian's mint 964. Rotiform do a replica multi-piece Fuchs replica too that look quite nice!

Mike D'Silva Posted 22September, 2014 Report Share Posted 22September, 2014 2 second ebay search found these:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Porsche-911-Carrera-Cup-Alloy-Wheels-and-Tyres-/121437751378?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c46410852 Yes, I did see those a while ago.. but looking at the offsets of 15mm rear and 23mm front, doesnt that mean they wont work with 964? The whole concept of offset and how it is measured confuses me.. but i got the impression they need to be 52-55mm to work on a 964...
f3nr15 Posted 22September, 2014 Report Share Posted 22September, 2014 Those 15mm and 23mm offsets are for an impact bumper car, so unsuitable for a
JV911 Posted 23September, 2014 Report Share Posted 23September, 2014 To add a few from my recent investigations: Work wheels - Brombacher or VS XX (both similar to BBS LM but look bigger for a given diameter esp the latter) Victor Equipment - Innsbruck or Zehn
