Caledonian Posted 21April, 2014 Report Share Posted 21April, 2014 decided this car isn't really for me.. anyone want to buy it?? Wee bit buyers remorse creeping in? Is it the car itself or just the culture shock of driving 1970s technology?
Tit Posted 21April, 2014 Report Share Posted 21April, 2014 Or did your wife get access to your PFA account? Wee bit buyers remorse creeping in? Is it the car itself or just the culture shock of driving 1970s technology?
Mike D'Silva Posted 21April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 21April, 2014 actually a bit of everything! Whilst my partner doesn't ever tell me I cannot have something, she kinda made the point that 2 porsches, 2 ducatis and another cafe racer, are a bit much... 5 lots of rego and insurance is a bit over the top for someone that works 6 days and only has 1 day off! And yes.. it is a bit of a shock getting into a car with no air, no steer, and lots of rattles and squeaks! The main issue, is my garage is just too small and finding a place to park them (hiding at work) is a bit of a stress.... You'd think I'd get smarter as I got older. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/brisbane-city/cars-vans-utes/1969-porsche-911t-targa/1044649643
Peter M Posted 21April, 2014 Report Share Posted 21April, 2014 Mike, Have you thought about just parking it for a week or two and then making a decision considering it's only been in your possession 3 days? I know how much effort you put into deciding to buy a 901 in the first place and it would be a pity to see it go in a moment of haste......
