Fuel Luke Posted 21January, 2021 Author Report Share Posted 21January, 2021 A fair bit has happened recently, but I'll jump forward to the interior that I finished a few weeks ago. I laid down a layer of Carbuilders acoustic foam to go between the sound deadening and the carpet: I then made a start on the carpet, also from Carbuilders (Melbourne). It's not a 914 kit, I started with a roll of raw material. It's not the most hard-wearing carpet around, but it goes around corners really nicely and easy to glue down and trim to size. Since I threw the factory backpad in the bin a couple of years ago, it's been my intention to carpet all the way up to the rear glass, so that's what I did. After final assembly, the interior is now finished. I've never done anything like this before.. it was fun. Fuel Luke Posted 31January, 2021 Author Report Share Posted 31January, 2021 I rolled the car out into daylight for the first time in many months to take a look last week. The windscreen has since been fitted, but here's a peek at how things are looking so far. tomo, PDean, firstone and 2 others

The f&f was diabolical and cost me many hours of labour for the guys to get them to fit nicely. bumble and brian in buddina
