Car is now at Prostitch (Sydney) for the interior fit out and installation of the new Recaro Pole Position Classic Pepita seats. (See attached). Car should be finished during late March - at least with interior. The engine is now awaiting the return of the trimmed body, so I had better reveal a couple of photos of my "little" 4.0 litre. The car is in with my trimmer (and he has plenty of work on) so the best update I can provide is a sneak preview of the interior. Work Done to date: 1. All interior sound deadening removed and replaced with "DynaMat" 2. Headling replaced (white / grey) original Porsche perforated material 3. Wiring and placement for sub-woofer + new Focal speakers + SQR46 new bluetooth radio 4. Glass In 5. Carpet started cutting, edging and laying - Porsche Silverknit 6. Console mofifications commenced (to accomodate CAE Shifter) Attached are acouple of not so sexy photos, but I am sure you get the idea (note 2nd photo - 993 photo is from a US car). Engine, Gearbox and all otehr mechanicals are fully done and standing by for return of car (post trimming). Car heading back to Corse Automotive for mechanical install, tuning & commissioning. A HUGE Thank You to Prostitch Motor Trimming for a sensational job. Interior was to remain a 964, with some modern enhancements and simplification. We avoided the RS door card theme and created a unique arm rest, door pull, modern speaker style of our own. Full leather - door cards, door capping, dashboard, 964 Rear Seat Delete (genuine), sub woofer (concealed) ... the list extends further as well. I include below a few photos, as I intend to have the car professionally photographed when the build is complete. Cheers for now.
