kov Posted 5November, 2023 Report Share Posted 5November, 2023 Hi PFA community, I am on the chase for a Watercooled 911 coupe, my budget is 100k. First preference is a 997.2 PDK however I may have missed the boat price wise. Not many pop up for sale however if you don’t ask you don’t get! I may consider a well sorted 996 C4S manual coupe/ 997 S If any fellow enthusiast are interested in chatting or have a mate outside of what is on CS please get in touch. Happy to buy anywhere across Aus. Cheers!
Harsh Posted 6November, 2023 Report Share Posted 6November, 2023 I love your optimism. Let me know how you get on. I am on the hunt for a well sorted 997.1 for under a 100k

Unless sellers want to sit for years and years on CS. You weren’t keen on the recently sold 997’s? under 100k is a bit vague??
AndrewM Posted 6November, 2023 Report Share Posted 6November, 2023 997.1 Tip should be available for just on 100k All 996s should also be available for about that price.. (gt3 not included)

Not on hot copper by any chance and applying uniformed generalisations that lacks attention to detail and blatent downramping. Or is this a cut and paste from a 2015/2016 post. When I bought my 996, gt3's where asking less than basket case mezger engined ones like mine that I reckon are a bit punchier in 3rd compared to a gt3, especially if you are in the stock is not for me camp and into some tweaking. My bad, Looking at Carsales, true, 996 Turbo, 996 4S and 996 GT3 are above the 100k mark

JWM Posted 6November, 2023 Report Share Posted 6November, 2023 Still over $100k (better make that clear 😳) but I noticed a 996 Turbo on Carsales that got a $20k haircut today. Nature is healing. Harsh

First world problems I unfortunately didn’t save it, white 997.2 with around 110k went for circa 100k earlier earlier this year. Was snapped up immediately. I’m in no rush so will see what happens prices wise into 2024. 56 minutes ago, JWM said: Still over $100k (better make that clear 😳) but I noticed a 996 Turbo on Carsales that got a $20k haircut today. Can't see that going for a 100k any time soon being a manual and looks to be kept in good nick compared to others. But never say never. Do you still have your 996? looks like a real clean car in & out, IMS checked and new clutch. In my opinion only thing holding it back getting a top price will be the patchy service history and lack of invoices from the previous owners. Will be watching the auction and see where’s it’s at over the weekend.
