twro Posted 24November, 2023 Report Share Posted 24November, 2023 I have just purchased a 911 GTS 991.2 in Brewster Green, my first modern 911, very exciting! It is fitted with the standard black GTS centre-lock wheels, and I am thinking about swapping to bronze / gold wheels to match the vibe of the photos at the bottom. Porsche OEM wheels seem limited in range (from their AU site), and also pretty $$$ at about $15k for a set. Any suggestions for alternative ways to get this look? e.g. used OEM wheels painted the colour I want, etc Any help appreciated, I know very little about wheels and tyres! p.s. I now need to sell either my Cayman R (Peridot green) and/or 911 964 (C2, Coupe, manual, silver), if anyone is interested please DM My new car... Vibe I like... mc968cs Posted 24November, 2023 Report Share Posted 24November, 2023 Congratulations on the purchase - great car and awesome colour. I love the suggested new rim colour. I’d just repaint the black wheels it came with…they will look brilliant. WB997.2GTS and twro
LeeM Posted 24November, 2023 Report Share Posted 24November, 2023 Saw this at the Adelaide 500 the other day to give you an idea. Bronze looks great with green, though you'd want to get the shade right...or my opinion would be silver rims twro

Interesting suggestion thanks, I hadn't thought about that as an option. Do you know any wheel shops that could do this (VIC)?
Joz Posted 25November, 2023 Report Share Posted 25November, 2023 Looks like you’re at Porscheden, Matt could probably suggest the right place. twro

tomk86 Posted 26November, 2023 Report Share Posted 26November, 2023 Great colour, congrats! I think it would also look good with silver wheels twro
