tazzieman Posted 22May, 2014 Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 I'll say it Niko : "entry level wannabe" What are the accel figures above 200km/hr? A niche point of interest , for me at least.
D-banger Posted 22May, 2014 Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 I'll say it Niko: This guy cannot be married. Who would ever have such a list for the wife to find?
Niko Posted 22May, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 Yeah Tazzie, certainly different, not really my cup of tea. Certainly spent some money on it. Yeah...different..

Well done on him for keeping that list and pricing, but I know what your saying, Mrs NIKO would have a coronary if she found a list like that in my "car stuff"
tazzieman Posted 22May, 2014 Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 Just yesterday one of my sons asked my wife (she gets the new ones) what was the true cost of owning a new car , lease and running costs and depreciation etc. Her reply "you don't want to know , don't ever look at the bills" Words that warm the cockles of my classic car heart. DJM Posted 22May, 2014 Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 Horrible. Rough maths suggest he spent $20k to buy, fit and paint the body kit. Spend $20k devalue car by$20k, net $40k loss, a smart way to waste your money and end up with a car that looks shit. Not quite as bad but still bad: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-Boxster-1997/SSE-AD-2750133

Uncle Posted 22May, 2014 Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 IIRC the "Hi Vis" car is the same rep-write off posted about 12 months go by the young bloke looking for a project. Price at auction was ~8k/rainman. LOL@ "sounds like a GT2" for the first car. My twin turbo 986 sounds nothing like a GT2. I must be missing something? LeeM Posted 22May, 2014 Report Share Posted 22May, 2014 Sorry, but that first one, I quite like it. Looks better than a standard one of the same year in my opinion Lucky that variety is the spice of life!
