So near yet so far. Had a great run yesterday morning as I waved the VIC guys goodbye to forge on to Canbra.

Hi to all the guys from up North that I caught up with over the last couple of years.

Cheers, until next time.

Was at the first 'meet' where a bashful lot shuffled their loafers  out front of old Parliament House...today caught up with the chaps as they  tootled past a bend out near gundaroo and then proceeded to worry the tail Enders in my very purple SS ute ;)

stopped for for a sneaky beer before scooting to Baby. Bunting...

been said before by more than me it's got the makings of a bigger weekend.

All just back from the Canberra run....what a great few days of driving, laughs and knowledge building.

From me, as a newbie a big thanks to Caver and SteveF for organising the NSW side and thanks to the other guys in the group for making me laugh and sharing your obscene knowledge of Porsche..!!

TargaGeorge....keep the shirt on and StephenS....please no more sailing stories..!!

Yes, big thanks to Steve F and Caver for making it happen and to Panzerjager and Tit for hosting us. I had a great time thanks to all with periods where I couldn't barely breathe I was laughing so hard....Mr Bean impression, "You need to look after that better",  every story Stepthen S told and many more.

Special nomination to Oz930 for the persistence award too.

Great catching up and look forward to the next.

I'll 2nd, 3rd and 4th the above comments!  Great weekend, superb weather, great roads, fantastic cars and a great bunch of guys.  Can't wait for next year - I'll be a year older!  Oh, wait...

Same!..... Not much more to add to all said above.....PeterM's look of alarm when confronted with a madman pushing his meat pies was priceless.......and taking the Targa top off now has a new meaning to me from now on.

To Caver, again mate, what you do in preparation for the run goes "above and beyond" even down to making sure of the quality of the cafe's food........or at least the quality of who works there ;-)

and SteveF the extra behind the scenes sorting hotel stuff is an indicator just what a gem the next employer is going to get... A Star!

cheers to all and of course to the Melbourne and local ACT collective but that bit I think belongs in the other thread. That said what a great bunch of people joined together by a simple love of pure mechanical majic in its many forms.

Thanks everyone for making such a good event.  Mick and the ACT crew, thank you for a great photo event and sorting out lunch, plus the overnight security.  SteveF for arranging accommodation.

We'll get some shots up soon!

Cheers!

David.

Thanks everyone for another fantastic weekend. I appreciate the NSW crew sharing their cars for the weekend. It was great to ride in so many different cars and catch up with everyone again. A big thanks to George for letting me drive his car on the way back to Sydney. What a rush and thanks for keeping your shirt on!!

Also thanks to Caver, the Canberra and Victorian crew for arranging this event.

Once again it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves and to witness the camaraderie between a diverse group of people with a diverse group of Porsches (eg. GT2 to 944). It is refreshing to see, as in my experience this camaraderie is not always present with owners of other makes of performance vehicles.

Our photographer and reverse Jenga specialist Reece, said he will soon provide an internet link for his Flickr site for me to send out to everyone so you can access the photos he captured. If you plan on posting your photos/videos on similar sites please don't hesitate to share them with the rest of us.

Cheers,

Mick
