cheapest way to freight large parts?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Need to freight a rear bumper in a box (180cm x 80cm x 80cm) and get it here within a week from over East (NSW) to Perth. It's not heavy at all. TNT quoted ~$500.

Are there any cheaper/better options?

Thanks

Bryan

Have you tried Greyhound Freight  - last time I used them the max weight was 20Ks (but a little bit more didnt seem to worry them).

Max is 200cm x 100cm x 80cm  (should be Ok for you?) Much cheaper if you drop off & pick up from their Bus freight depots.

They have special rates for Seniors (Hi dad can you help me out?) & such - for example a bike to,anywhere in Australia is $120.

I shipped a moped interstate using Greyhound and it was all good.
