Picked her up at 0800 this morning and have just got home, 1700hrs. Clocked up about 250km's today and loved every bit of it.

Just a couple of pics, more to come over the next week once I give her a detail.

Well done. Your no- nonsense approach shames those of us who spend too much time Internet surfing and tyre kicking. Pick a specific model, get your cash ready and go to it. Many happy days ahead, I love the yellow, very individual, you'll never lose it even at a Porsche car show.

Sorry about the wait but here she is all washed, polished, waxed and vacuumed. She was clean when I got it but now she is up to my standard of clean.

Interesting how the colour changes depending on the angle.

Looks nice. You did well to find one so quickly.

Do you know if it came with a tail from the factory?

The C3s were available with 3 different tails or no tail at all. (Pretty sure that's right).

Have you got a/c?

The engine bay looks just like ours.

I have been looking into performance upgrades for the C3, as you probably have done so too.

With a CIS engine like ours we can go to 9.5:1

Compression pistons, 964 cams, 11 blade fan (like yours already has), ssi heat exchangers and a couple of other things. These give a few more ponies to play with and apparently make the C3 even better! Upgrading the suspension with torsion bars and strut brace apparently makes a big difference too.

I'll post pic's of mine ASAP.

Thanks Will.

She came from the factory with no tail and no A/C. I have looked briefly into aftermarket A/C but haven't done anything more at this stage.

I remember reading all C3s were landed in Oz without tails and the dealers here fitted them before delivery if ordered. Not sure how true that is but it was on the net so has to be true.

I was lucky to find one local but still had PPIs done on two others that were forsale at the time the one I bought presented the best. Glad I didn't keep looking as only one other 76 C3.o has been advertised forsale since.

Looking forward to some pics of yours.

Cheers

Ben
