VIC Xmas Party 2013

Hey All!

I've been thinking about a suitable Xmas party for us south of the border, and wondered about how the following might stack up?

PFA ROC Kart Challenge @ GoKart Sport Racing

followed by

Fizzy Drinks, Malts ( ;)) and BBQ @ DAKDAK Cafe

including

Videos of personal road/track exploits (all you GoPro's out there!), or just fav' scene ie: "Rendezvous"

and

Nurburgring Challenge - PS3 (or 4 if its out by then), GT5 (GT6 - heres hoping!) and a single car/single lap time challenge.

My November has cleared slightly and a Friday/Saturday night before the crazy season starts for real might be just what we all need!

Thoughts?

Kerry

PS: Welcoming of Northerners and Westerners would be warmly encouraged, especially those that truly believe that Hugh's reign as PFA ROC Legend has lasted just too, too long! :P   :D

I'm already on a diet.

BAH-HA HA HA!!!

You've got a long way to go to give the "whippet" a run for his money!!!   :P  :D  :D  :D

Why do you think I'm introducing the Nurburgring lap time trial?! Level driving ground my friend! ;)

Sounds like a Go-er Kerry, Just hope work doesn't get in the way.

I'm thinking Friday 15th or Saturday 16th... how do they suit Mark?

Do girls get a head start?

A, are you suggesting that girls are inferior drivers?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!?  :o  :P

OK, ONE MONTHS NOTICE!!!

Saturday 16th November

PUT IT IN YOUR DIARIES, OR SUBMIT TO STRATEGIC COMMAND...

We will be starting with the PFAROC (Race Of Champions) at GoKartSportRacing in Moorabbin

where we will have a common goal, nay duty, to topple the rein of the Evil Pixie (see 5 posts above).

Need I remind you of what you will be driving for...

(and yes, I need to update the plaque!)

The cost of this will be $65 and I have a booking for a 6pm briefing, qualifying starting at 6.20pm, with the conclusion and finale around 7.30pm.

I need to know numbers sooner than later to confirm the booking, so can those interested please let me know ASAP?

We will then retire to spend the evening at the FAT BOB's Bar and Grill where a BBQ and liquid refreshments await.

There are a few other events planned for the night, however I will release these as they are confirmed (however a hint lies below...)

Silly question but is this going to be a "leave the car at home" shindig?

Depends how thirsty you'll be there Simon, personally I can see a great thirst, a-comin'-on!

;)

Leave the car at home!!!!!!!!!

That's about a $100 cab fare from the far reaches of the North!
