Buchanan Automotive Posted 28January, 2014 Report Share Posted 28January, 2014 Hi guys and girls, I thought i should share a few photos from a recent annual service. This is one of our customers cars, as part of his collection of low km Porsches including a 964 RS (21,000kms), 928S (24,000kms) 2 944 turbos a 91 model with 39,000kms and a 86 with 26,000kms. This particular 3.6 turbo has just over 5,000kms on the clock, and the customer has owned this from new. Its simply a stunning car. Buchanan Automotive Posted 29January, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 29January, 2014 Thats the most protected parking space we have besides inside the workshop. Im torn between the low use of this car but I'm also glad that some owners keep their cars with such low Kms, Its like a time capsule. Im certainly glad to be able to see what they were like when they left the factory. I should remember to take a few more pictures of his cars when he visits us for the next service. As a daily car he has a BMW M5 V10 and a Lexus 4wd. Regards sean

clutch-monkey Posted 29January, 2014 Report Share Posted 29January, 2014 kind of a shame, but it is very mint. i haven't hesitated to drive our 964 turbo for 2000km+ trips, though it's not quite so factory fresh as that.
withers Posted 29January, 2014 Report Share Posted 29January, 2014 That's very very nice. But makes me wonder what the owner does drive often then! If this is his collection - wowzers!
GC9911 Posted 29January, 2014 Report Share Posted 29January, 2014 Great pics. I think there are 2 categories out there, drivers & collectors, not sure you can be both. I choose driver, if I want to collect something it's stone chips from great drives!
