firstone Posted 26June, 2014 Report Share Posted 26June, 2014 My head is swimming with comments. How do I say this politely? Nope.... I can't find anything. I too would restore a classic vehicle like this in original condition, colours included. Hard to understand the restorer using non original parts in other areas. Each to their own. Ohh, it's gross. I too could not drive this.
Coastr Posted 26June, 2014 Report Share Posted 26June, 2014 I'm sure this was the one that was linked here for sale about 12 months ago or more. There can't have been that many yellow/yellow 993 turbos with delivery miles. When it was linked for sale it still had the plastic on the seats. I'm sure the wheels weren't yellow though, I'm sure they were silver. I'd own it. Who cares. If someone gave me crap, I'd ask them what colour interior their 993 turbo had. But I would put the wheels back to silver.
firstone Posted 26June, 2014 Report Share Posted 26June, 2014 Id own it to. Upholstery and wheels to a nice colour to suit me though.
sleazius Posted 27June, 2014 Report Share Posted 27June, 2014 What would it cost to redo that interior and make it look factory? The wheels are an easy fix, but the interior ... ouch.

OZ930 Posted 28June, 2014 Report Share Posted 28June, 2014 Maybe the colour is the reason it has low km as for a song……"I wear my sunglasses at night….."
Flatout Posted 30June, 2014 Report Share Posted 30June, 2014 The real question is, if you bought it would you drive it home or get it towed with a cover on it?

clutch-monkey Posted 11July, 2014 Report Share Posted 11July, 2014 i agree, a couple of cans of vinyl dye and refinish the wheels and you're set..
Bugs77 Posted 11July, 2014 Report Share Posted 11July, 2014 That was for sale in NZ about 9mths ago, probably one of the Sultan's, a few keep popping up there from time to time. NZD$165,000 was the asking if I recall, not bad for what is just about a brand new 993 tt and if you could afford it you could afford a nice pair of sunnies too.
