Once i have moved home I will be bringing the lady of Tassie , back to the mainland and you can sniff the leather . Just gotta find a covered transport option… Cant sleep at night thinking of someone chaining it down on the ferry , im kinky but not that kinky.I love seeing the non P cars.. love my Pcars always with nearly 30 years of ownership but somewhat predictably perfect hey ..Come on I know you guys and girls have some more juicy cars hidden away

Mate, I'd be exactly the same, so I don't blame you at all for not wanting to drive it, as hard as that must be! The DB5 is in my top 2 favourite cars being an equal to a MiuraYours is just stunning, absolutely stunning! Many congrats on the result. Love the E Type too. I helped push start one of them many years ago, then the bloke said to jump in for a ride. He was a friggin maniac and I thought I was going to die! Weird, coz I was laughing at the same time. Will never forget that ride, nor the sound of a wailing 12 cylinder at full noise

TrevMcRev Posted 26February, 2016 Report Share Posted 26February, 2016 Honestly - as hard as it is to admit I couldn't handle the physicality of the constant high G levels. Turn 1 at Phillip Island was 100% flat at around 240km/hr with G loads around 3. And there were 9 other corners per lap over 2.5G's. I always found each weekend I would set my fastest lap times in Practice 1 and over the weekend I would get slower and slower as I was worn down by it. But it wasn't a fitness thing - I just didn't enjoy that level of G's where I couldn't move my head 1mm even if I wanted to, and so I'd slowly start to reduce the forces exerted on me as the weekends would go on. Up to 2G's I'm fine (which is about what the Ginetta will do) - but over that I just don't enjoy it. It's the same as I don't really enjoy Go Karts for the same reason.Ever thought about gravel rallying? Low G'g...High FUN! Not even joking.I get ya mate …Webbers and lots of 98 rule the day , you wanna hear that puppy at 7000 RPM… Thats why its in the lineup.. I started with and Esky and will problem end up with one. Along with the Qaife Straightcut box , sounds goodActually its really funny when I take it on the same run in the hills as the TT , sometimes although speeds significantly different, the small cabin space and the turn in feels a little similar.. Just needs a 2.0l Turbo

Vantage Point Video 112,747 views You will probably undertand why when I go to driver training and they ask me what I want to do , I say, go the wet area and skid pan.. Cars have such a different perspective going sideways...I once spent 2hrs of my 3 hr session at mount cotton in a 993C4S getting the feel for the cars.. the instructors just laughed and said , your never started in Escorts did you ? TrevMcRev Posted 27February, 2016 Report Share Posted 27February, 2016 That pic was from the Strzelecki Stages rally, probably about 2002. Fast flowing stages, great event. You've got me reminiscing now...I'm gonna have to look for more old pics. They are hella fun cars. There's a reason why all the retired WRC champs have one in their collection! They drive $1M WRCars for a day job, but choose an Esky for fun!Block & Atko: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQgmdHzqtqAThis one's good too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy8w915Z1WcColin McRae: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBW4XQJD2Qo
