tazzieman Posted 3August, 2014 Report Share Posted 3August, 2014 $11, 500 buys you into a club where every other part in the car must also be as worthy. That's when the wife starts to get really twitchy.

SteamWolf Posted 4August, 2014 Report Share Posted 4August, 2014 You know, right angle bevel drives are only $150 to $300 retail. I'm sure it can't be THAT hard to fabricate some alloy brackets and a GRP duct/cover.... Hmmm...
Uncle Posted 4August, 2014 Report Share Posted 4August, 2014 I think you find a $300 bevel drive is rated to a little less that the 11,000rpm fan head speed...

I've thought this too, but I think it's the RPM it's doing (I can't remember what the calculation was)

BJM Posted 13October, 2014 Report Share Posted 13October, 2014 There is an add on gum tree for 7 & 8 x16 inch Fuchs wheels in Sydney. I went & had a look yesterday.....they are not. They are 6 & 7 x 16. Just in case someone was thinking of by them over the phone. I confirmed the size (7 & 8) with he guy before I drove over. A quick wipe down & they shrunk an inch. Other then that they are resonable wheels.
