Hi Everyone,

I've been religiously reading PFA for several months now and its struck me how many people of different backgrounds there are on board. We've got Professionals, Tradies, Engineers, Business people, IT personnel and a whole lot more. Many of you are already familiar with each other and many others just by their avatar on PFA. There seems to be a great deal of camaraderie on board.

I don't know if this has been discussed before or if its a taboo subject and I apologise on the outset if it is, but wouldn't it make sense to create a list of all the different professions and specialties of those members who are willing to lend a hand in their chosen profession, that would be beneficial to all concerned.

It would be splendid if all members are benefited by professional advice, goods & services or just some re-assurances. It could be on a mates rates basis or any other proposal.

What do you think?

Cheers,

Sohan

Wow that's a great response thus far. Now everyone knows everyone else just that much better. :D

I'm an Importer & distributor of Household Electrical appliances and have Sole Distributorship of "BOS & SARINO" & "FIELDMAN" range of products.

I'm in support of it. But for me in Perth the tyranny of distance is a hindrance, so i'm jealous of your close group in the east!

Norm, it doesn't matter where you are physically located, we're all in the same cyber location!

I'm a gynaecologist...

(Good idea though)

ok - as this has started to resemble Linkedin, I better come clean. I am no expert in lady parts..

I own a small interior design business specializing in the design and branding of retail and hospitality interiors (shops & restaurants). We have yet to do a car dealership, or a private collector garage, but we would love to give it a go! www.juicydesign.com.au

Up until the end of June, last year, I managed Scientific Services for a major water company (I'm an analytical chemist).  Now I'm retired, and can work on my cars all day, while my wife continues to work...

But - I have to do the shopping, washing, house cleaning, house maintenance, lawn mowing, gardening first... :(
