My C3 Leichtbau Turbo Replica

Recommended Posts

A real nice ride this. A 1975 Aussie delivered C3 that's been converted into a 964 Turbo S Leichtbau replica with a heap of RUF parts and engineering as well. Makes around 480hp and is one hell of a good thing to steer. Amazing fact: doesn't leak oil!

When someone can tell me how to upload more pics I will :)

(Keeps saying I am only allowed to upload 102k, even if uploading 80k)

 Make Photobucket your friend mate

The easiest way I've found is on my phone.

Upload pics to PB. Once thats done, select the triangular shaped icon with 3 dots on it

Touch 'Copy Link to clipboard'

Touch the box with IMG next to it, then 'Done'

Comeback here and click on where you want it to be posted and 'Paste' it, then you should be right

I'm a muppet with technology, so anyone can do it

Now thats a HOTROD…..

Looks to be a true HEINZ 57 Variety build   ….with the BEANZ

Forward trajectory sounds interesting, hows the sideways and curvy stuff present itsself to the captain of this spaceship?

Tramac interacation is a bit of a fetish of mine , virtual reality is the beggining

It was obviously built to be driven , whats your share on that front.

I missed your introduction Welcome !

It was actually built by a guy by the name of Perry Spiridis in Melbourne back in 91/92. Bodywork by File Finish over there. Has the 1 inch wider than RUF rear guards (all steel) to house the 315 meats on the back of it. Its a fair handful that's for sure.

Nice to see you here Martin. You did the photo's and article on my Skyline for HPI many years ago. It was the really tacky airbrushed one with holograms all over it ;)

You have to use Photobucket or similar to get more pics up. Love to see the interior.

Jeff.

Nice try!  You're not getting off that lightly though!  Airbrushing?!

Added disclaimer, I was an airbrush artist and that was to promote my business. Still embarassing, like admitting to the fact that I was an avid rollerblader back in the day :o

Rollerblading?

You do realise owning up to that is going to haunt you for eternity on here don't you? :-)

It has a 930 4 speed.
