Wankers have no idea other than to waste exorbitant amounts of taxpayer money for his bullshit dreams. A mega million dollar tram that goes to nowhere now that the old hospital is closed, not to mention the wasted $10billion on a new hospital that was built by non SA business's or contractors plagued with problems. Or the tram line from Port Adelaide to the city when no-one wants to visit Port Adelaide coz it's a dump full of apartments that no-one can sell or rent out. The bus lane that killed the parklands into the city which apparently will save 3 minutes travel time in a car due to less busses. New casino that the developers had all the land donated to them (mates with the premier) and using interstate and international companies, yet these morons say they're creating jobs in SA? FOR WHO? Not South Australians! This place is a joke
Troubleshooter Posted 15October, 2017 Report Share Posted 15October, 2017 Sounds like a good place not to live. Problem is, all the talking heads that collaborate and put into action these farcical ideas that cost billions, just move on into the next sector of politics or local council or business etc with no ramifications for their shit ideas, leaving a wake of questionable or just plain bad stupid and ill informed decisions and loss - of your money as a tax payer, billions! They've stuffed your state up mate. And they lost the Grand Prix for you as well Sorry couldn't resist Raven and LeeM
LeeM Posted 15October, 2017 Report Share Posted 15October, 2017 A bit late to not get political, but you are pretty much spot on when our treasurer has no financial qualifications whatsoever, and was booted from his Police minister portfolio due to having amassed a load of speeding fines etc. They're a different breed these politicians....not a good breed either! Raven Posted 15October, 2017 Report Share Posted 15October, 2017 There seems to be no shortage of wankers who want to jump on the Elon Musk band wagon ,,,,,,,,,the hype that currently surrounds this fade is all smoke and mirrors and I would not be surprised if it all crash,s and burns in a disastrous way in the next few years ............There is no excuse for a nation like Australia to have energy shortages as we have such a vast amount of natural resource to draw from yet here we are on the verge off not having adequate energy supplies to sustain our current population .... bumble

Raven Posted 16October, 2017 Report Share Posted 16October, 2017 Heard on the morning news the PM is going to scrap the renewable energy policy and focus on using our own resources like coal and gas to avoid further price hikes and future power shortages about time the Fools woke up hopefully they see this through and do something instead of just talking about it LeeM
LeeM Posted 16October, 2017 Report Share Posted 16October, 2017 That'll piss the hippies off for sure. If that's the case, I have no doubt the SA government (Elon Musks favourite gullible idiots) will up their commitment to renewable energy to show how this state is leading the way in technology and saving the planet, and shove it in the face of the federal boys n girls who hate Jay Weatherill with a passion. I've no problem with renewable energy ideas, yet only as a back up, not as the sole power provider. The wind farms are a godsend for the SA country areas, as I was onsite at one ladies farm who receives $10k per year per wind generator, and she has 5 on her property with more coming. We'll see if and when ol Mal and his band of cronies deliver their new policies, and rejoice in saving $100 per year Raven

tazzieman Posted 17October, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 17October, 2017 LA Times today" I had great performance reviews. I don’t believe I was fired for performance,” said Daniel Grant, who told The Times he’s worked at Fremont factory since 2014 as a production assistant. He suspects he was fired because he raised safety issues and supported a union drive.“The company didn't show me or others our most recent reviews when they fired us,” Grant said. “I would like the company to release our full reviews, including peer reviews, to us.”An assembly line worker, Mike Williams, said his firing last week could not be the result of a bad performance review because, in his last review in 2016, “my supervisor had nothing but good things to say about me.”Other fired workers were treated the same, he said. “Our reviews were due in June. In June they told us they would be in August. In September they told us October.”He was fired, he believes, because he spoke up about safety issues at employee meetings and because he wore a union shirt on what’s become Union Shirt Friday for some workers at the Tesla plant. “I had a union sticker on my water bottle, too,” he said." Raven Posted 17October, 2017 Report Share Posted 17October, 2017 (edited) I wonder how long it will take before Tesla ships its manufacturing and assemble of shore .........or down south to Mexico ,,,sounds like they are creating a totalitarian work place ,,,,and if anyone speaks up ......... LeeM Posted 17October, 2017 Report Share Posted 17October, 2017 Seems to be the norm with most companies nowadays. Lose profits, sack loyal workers and get cheap labour, or send manufacturing overseas I'm far from being smart, but even I can see Tesla can't absorb losses for much longer

tazzieman Posted 18October, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 18October, 2017 lol read the tweets. Big boys in sandpit vs little boy!http://fortune.com/2017/09/25/daimler-mercedes-benz-elon-musk-electric-cars/Daimler, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, has a message for Tesla CEO Elon Musk: It’s putting money into electric vehicles. In a Twitter message Monday, Daimler trolled Musk over how much it is investing in electric cars. The tweet included a link to Daimler’s electrification goals.Daimler’s provocation was in response to Musk’s own tweet sent over the weekend that expressed disappointment in the German automaker’s announcement it was going to invest $1 billion into its Alabama factory to produce an electric SUV there.Daimler announced Sept. 21 that it plans to produce a Mercedes electric SUV under a new brand called EQ at the Tuscaloosa, Ala. factory. The automaker is also building a separate battery plant next to the factory. The EQ brand will cover a number of electric products, from vehicles and charging services to home energy storage units. Troubleshooter Posted 18October, 2017 Report Share Posted 18October, 2017 And I guess the $10 billion is all Daimler Benz's money as well - not a govt handout (investment ) like 80% of Musk's funds are, which is actually taxpayers money propping him up mostly LeeM and Redracn

Redracn Posted 30October, 2017 Report Share Posted 30October, 2017 Seems crash avoidance is not the only area Tesla struggle with. Reliability is also something they struggle with. Even the French can build a more reliable EV. I mean how hard do you have to try to get an electric motor wrong, luch for them their customers overlook the issue all in the name of the EV religion.http://www.grandtournation.com/5722/tesla-model-s-still-pretty-dang-unreliable/
