550Spyder Posted 1May, 2014 Report Share Posted 1May, 2014 Does anyone have info on the white 993 97 model on carsales. $79990. Nsw dealer. No knowledge of the car except there is a post to a u tube video of it in this post somewhere. It sounds really nice, lumpy onidle and crisp on the throttle. Steering wheel is a 993 option but not the common australian one. I like it but first question is overseas delivery car? Wheels look like targa. I like the car, good price if Australian, a bit over if uk. I would be surprised if prior owner was not on here somewhere.
Hughesy Posted 1May, 2014 Report Share Posted 1May, 2014 Thanks. I'll look for u tube clip.
MaxzmusSC Posted 1May, 2014 Report Share Posted 1May, 2014 After a yr I still can't believe some if the prices being asked. And it's not just in Aust. Lol
T-Man Posted 1May, 2014 Report Share Posted 1May, 2014 Thanks. I'll look for u tube clip. Tube clip shows it as a 95, however it is certainly a 97. It's had exhaust work for certain and a 996 3-spoke wheel. Nothing to really indicate a UK delivery though.
Caledonian Posted 2May, 2014 Report Share Posted 2May, 2014 This would be worth a look, appears to be pretty original even has the air pump...... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australian-Porsche-911-SC-1981-2D-Coupe-5-SP-Manual-3L-Fuel-Injected-/191157558498?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item2c81e0dce2&_uhb=

sleazius Posted 3May, 2014 Report Share Posted 3May, 2014 I know it has been put on here before, but man, why can't this car be $150k ... I want it so bad (but not bad enough to break my budget). http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Porsche-911-2010/AGC-AD-15644007/?Cr=2&sdmvc=

TrevMcRev Posted 4May, 2014 Report Share Posted 4May, 2014 Very low (starting) price with no reserve on this 996 Turbo. $60,500. Pity it's a Tiptronic, colour is a bit different too...but nice with the tan interior. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Porsche-911-Turbo-4WD-2001-2D-Coupe-5-SP-Automatic-Tiptr-3-6L-Twin-/221431599062?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item338e5a0fd6&_uhb=1 Russ

hugh Posted 4May, 2014 Report Share Posted 4May, 2014 amazingly fast sale... must have been mint. 43k for a fair condition original RHD car is pretty reasonable, I wouldn't expect it was mint (didn't look it in the photos anyway). If it was mint someone got a very good deal.

Even as a repairable, the car seems well priced. Obviously subject to inspection
