It usually makes the orange look like more of a brown (and as a 3 layer pearl it is very hard to to get it looking even all over and not mottled).For my money I would leave it orange. Considering you have already started. I have the same dilema, I was pretty much sold on painting my car orange but that Chartruese has me thinking....
