Pork Chops Posted 28February, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 28February, 2017 You bought the one from Bill? Nice work anyway. Progress I did Lee. I shot you a text over the weekend to thank you for the lead. Did you get it? But thanks!

Coastr Posted 28February, 2017 Report Share Posted 28February, 2017 Torn between top right and middle right. Hope I didn't pick Tiffany blue.the iroc wing would work with a bold color and iroc look ... but you need big wide butt to pull it off

The car is wide bodied and will have an IROC wing (it has been decided). I'd consider all the colour choices bold no?
Pork Chops Posted 1March, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 1March, 2017 Caged engine ready for transport. Should have it back in Melbourne on Friday, but it's not needed for a while sadly...

But if going for the entire iroc look then you do need it, other wise it would look too tame.
Pork Chops Posted 2March, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 2March, 2017 Recovered in black nappa. Has 1/8 inch foam under it to fatten it up a bit. Unsure of this was a good move as the wheel is a little soft to the touch. I'll have to drive it to see. And that will be a while.A few things I could be picky about, but overall a good job

P-Kay Posted 2March, 2017 Report Share Posted 2March, 2017 That wheel turned out A1. Where did you have it done?
MFX Posted 2March, 2017 Report Share Posted 2March, 2017 I will be attempting a similar type job tomorrow, and I know it is not going to end up anywhere near as good as that. Looks great, considering a steering wheel is all sewn by hand.

Raven Posted 6March, 2017 Report Share Posted 6March, 2017 The RSR style wheels tend to give these cars a different look ,,,,,the replica for sale could also have 16 inch rims and lower profile tire to the original IROC or even a smaller tires and rim combo that are not as wide as the IROC due to it being on modern R spec tires certainly does look to have a different stance .... Raven Posted 6March, 2017 Report Share Posted 6March, 2017 Yeh different tire and rim combo ..........the dish on original IROC rims are really deep ...And the tires have a large sidewall ,,,,,the replica,s are much smaller ...
