wasserkuhl Posted 31March, 2013 Report Share Posted 31March, 2013 Its a Tatra. designed by Hans Ludwinka. Ferdinand Porsche worked very closely with Hans Ludwinka. The Tatra had a boxer air cooled rear mounted 4 Cylinder engine. Sound and look familiar? In the early 60's Porsche acknowledged that the old Dr may have borrowed some of Hans' Ideas and paid Hans' family some cash. I coudln't find the photo I took of a tatra in Germany so pegged this one up! Its fair to say that the original concept for the Kdf Wagen was Hans Ludwinka and not Dr Porsche.
