Coastr Posted 26October, 2014 Report Share Posted 26October, 2014 RSR tribute with a kjet 3.0 with the heat taken off. Yeah, that's worth more than a gt3. I put market value of that car at about 40k if it is tidy.

clutch-monkey Posted 26October, 2014 Report Share Posted 26October, 2014 that was for sale last year. wonder why reselling. would approach with caution but was that price last year and could be a hell of a deal for someone handy

After you spend hundreds or thousands of hours putting it all back together again, you'd have a car that cost you at least 50k. So why not buy a registered, working one for that? As the ad says 'wiling to swap for a drivable registered car' You don't say, I just don't subscribe to the view that a disassembled car is worth anything like 50% of an assembled one. Ok, place ya bets! Whats this one going to sell for?http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PORSCHE-911-RSR-930-WIDEBODY-BARGAIN-/271647285044?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item3f3f709f34 I quite like that. sleazius Posted 27October, 2014 Report Share Posted 27October, 2014 I could live with the blue interior, it's not as bad as some of the combos you see.
comieodor Posted 27October, 2014 Report Share Posted 27October, 2014 Has anybody had a look at, or know the history on this one: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-1990/SSE-AD-955541 Apparently its not been taken out in 18 months but starts and runs well. I assume something major exists given the usual sale timeframe on '64 is about 20 minutes and its been for sale for weeks. Follow up question, can anyone recommend a mechanic to do a PPI near the Gold Coast?

Love to see the PPI on it.

Follow up question, can anyone recommend a mechanic to do a PPI near the Gold Coast? I've heard from a mechanic that a red 964c4 on the coast that is for sale needed a top end rebuild, but is really tidy other than that. I had assumed it's this one, but I'd still check it out.
