Peter M Posted 11April, 2015 Report Share Posted 11April, 2015 ..... Massive difference in how the cars feel from 930 to 964. Only 5 years separates the cars but the 964 feels so much more modern. The G50 was a massive improvement and the car felt so much lighter - would it have power steering?Yes, the 964 was the first to have power assisted steering.I can relate to your comment about the huge difference in feel. Not good or bad, just different. turboT

Its the 'unlucky' buggas who had to 'organize' their days before they could venture out that we should be sparing a thought for Mike D'Silva

TrevMcRev Posted 11April, 2015 Report Share Posted 11April, 2015 Congrats turboT! While it's easy to think it's too good a car to go to town on, starting with such a good car will likely be a great foundation for your build. Look forward to watching this car unfold. turboT

Dusty Posted 12April, 2015 Report Share Posted 12April, 2015 I've seen worse flare jobs... Depending how it was done, could be a simple repair. Assuming the bones in a pre-galvanised import are ok.
