2010 997.2 AWD PDK Turbo just listed at Autohaus Hamilton for a mere $229k ........

Less than 5000 gen2’s made which is probably why they are holding their value. Likely less than 10% would have been RHD....Great car, insanely fast. Sold mine for $220k for about a year ago, but had a lot less kms.

Looks like they have a cheap gt3rs to...

What's with the Options? include 249 - Tiptronic / 432 Tiptronic buttons on steering wheel, but clearly its a manual.  Just following Stuttcars option listing here so may be wrong.

Not sure which car you are referring to but the 996gt3 is manual and the 997turbo is PDK

I can attest to the insanely fast!

Hell of a car!!

Itll be interesting to see how they hold up long term, and whether the Mezger 7.1 TT is favoured over the 7.2 TT with 9A1

Can’t remember the exact figures but something like 5x as many gen1 cars were built compared to gen 2 and as we all know scarcity is everything in the p-car world. What would be super rare is a gen 2 rhd manual though. Also 997 was the last gen when ‘turbo’ actually meant something...

Definitely there’s 7.2 manual TT, but from what I’ve read.... crazy rare! Maybe that’s one to keep an eye on?

I know what you mean on scarcity, but we all know how much everyone loves the Mezger!

I’ll get shot for saying this, but 997 is the best of watercooled... IMO of course ?

I know this was discussed a few weeks back - anything fundamentally wrong here?

Jim.

I rang about that car and spoke to the boys from Cavaco and to the owner, almost but not quite for me, it didn't get a ringing endorsement from Cavaco, i didn't go any further into it, obviously something is stopping it selling.

Not cheap in my book but a fair enough price for someone, Would be a top daily in traffic and a fair bit of kit for weekend fun for mid 60's.

I find a few of the dealers these days are quite reasonable in their pricing compared to private sales. Also there is a warranty, a little security (possibly) with sales back up from the dealer and it's an easy buy re finance, a seller who knows how to clinch a deal, not one who has no idea and stuffs a purchaser around. immediate inspection, Immediate delivery, and it would be detailed reasonably to boot

Or buy this, nicely optioned, SCP, half the k's, looks the goods, no IMSB or bore scoring threat...I know which one would feel better in the hills and on a track day;)

But it's not a 911

George's old car.  Good bit of kit and he's always had nice stuff, currently has a 997 GT2 and a Huracan.

I don't know who the current owner is though.

I know someone looking .. have you checked it out.. maybe has some gremlins I heard but could be a decoy or folklore .. do you know the owners since George?

I have driven  the yellow car in Brissy the TT . PM me if its your thing ..

Mines a 97 build so it turned 20 last month.

My 924 is a 77 build... so now I just need a 67, a 87, a 07 and a 17 to round things out. ?
