Harvs11 Posted 19April, 2015 Report Share Posted 19April, 2015 Funny you should mention the headlight screw, I did notice that as well. That screw doesn't connect to the sheet metal so the cancer will be quarantined to the lamp. Makes you wonder what else has the UK patina though. TrevMcRev Posted 19April, 2015 Report Share Posted 19April, 2015 I also wonder why this hasn't sold. Been on carsales for a while. Appears to be well priced. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-911-Carrera-2000/SSE-AD-2478366/?Cr=6 I were just looking at that thinking "it's nearly cheap enough to build a gravel rally car out of..." Coastr Posted 19April, 2015 Report Share Posted 19April, 2015 Funny you should mention the headlight screw, I did notice that as well. It's the sort of thing that drives me nuts, but my car probably has several things like that you develop a blindness to.

Cal Posted 20April, 2015 Report Share Posted 20April, 2015 Before anyone else calls the poor guy selling the 911 s 1973 for $27,000, please note it's a 912 1968 with RS bodykit. He's trying to fix the listing. It's still cheap.

withers Posted 21April, 2015 Report Share Posted 21April, 2015 So at the moment there are three 964 Turbo Wide Body Cabs on the market. Two of them have been up for over a year easily. Silver 128,000km on the clock for $58k the beautiful blue one for $62500 with 98600 on the clock. Today I see Rob from RSR has put up a new one. Custom factory paint, only 50k on the clock and asking a whopping $94500 for it. Wow... Rob would know the market but I wonder how he can put such an inflated price on his car over the other 2 that have not sold in all these months? Is he just trying it on to see if he can get it? http://www.carsales.com.au/cars/results?cpw=1&sortby=~Price&limit=12&q=%28%28Make%3d[Porsche]{%26}%28Model%3d[911+Carrera]{%26}Series%3d[964]%29%29%26Service%3d[Carsales]%

Would be curious to know more about the car if anyone finds out the real details. I thought SC ran from 78-83? I'm not aware of a 77 SC, unless it was built late in that year, which makes it one of the very first. Otherwise scant on details, and Kms! Won't last long unless major hidden problems. AC78 Posted 21April, 2015 Report Share Posted 21April, 2015 I'm not normally a fan of the Cabs but seeing them all in the one thread they just look fantastic. Reckon on a nice day It would be my first 911 of choice!
symsy Posted 21April, 2015 Report Share Posted 21April, 2015 For those looking at the SC The white SC , has rust in wings , headlamp areas , crazing down the near side wing and paint falling off Top of near side door also , some kind of mould on the paint surface on bonnet , maybe from a tarp. It also has badly scuffed seats and I think a cracked dash, aftermarket steering wheel Import RHD , probably out UK Mehanically ok but has been stored 2 years, unknown Service history, seems a little rich for that price… probably a good car at a much lower price….I think we are all looking at the good side Have fun Mike737, turboT and JV911
