Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

In regards to that 996 GT2, if it was a failed finance deal why did the seller drop the asking price on the car? doesn't make sense to me

If I was selling my car and someone's finance fell through I wouldn't re-list it for less, the car has not changed.. doesn't add up

He says he has stock wheels for it.. I feel he will have better luck selling by removing the 997 wheels and putting the original wheels on it then tearing off those hideous decals.  $125k ain't much coin for a gt2 imo... as always, thorough PPI needed lots of them have had an incident.

I don't know the car or the situation but could be that he's spent the money in his head and when the plug was pulled, wants a quick sale to continue on ....

Could also be any of the above .....

996 GT2 reappears, $10k less than a few weeks back.....

I went to see this tonight.

Absolutely beautiful. Some mods which are not to my taste such as the carbon wrapped mirrors and air inlet and the stripes, but all easily changed.

$4K ECU upgrade.$14K roll cage by Mark Poole Adelaide.

It is a UK import, current owner 7 yrs.

Back up to $135K as I understand it.

hadn't been on PNSW website for a while. Anyone fancy an ex cup car for under $50K? I remember talking to Autohaus about CUP car races and the like. They could charge upto $60k per race to maintain and make ready the car for each race. Now there's a great way to waste money..http://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_nsw/pc_main.nsf/web/DDAEA216911E543BC1257CFA0007C660#pagetophttp://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_nsw/pc_main.nsf/web/C34DA0DD1F358CA8C1257E0B0001F748#pagetophttp://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_nsw/pc_main.nsf/web/D308B3D19CC7B94DC1257D300083BEB2#pagetophttp://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_nsw/pc_main.nsf/web/17B07F842C329DFBC1257D500031605E#pagetophttp://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_nsw/pc_main.nsf/web/1E26F0660330A153C1257DF7007EE518#pagetophttp://www.pcnsw.com.au/PorscheClubs/pc_nsw/pc_main.nsf/web/305B0D27EB3E1DCDC1257DF7007D4B15#pagetop

That blue ZAG car has been on market for a while I think. Looks quite tidy, too exxy as a non original Carrera and not hot rodded enough to attract that market. In no mans land in between? Stuff a 300+ hp motor in it and create a beast like Chris Harris' kermit?

I

It is a UK import

Look carefully underneath - saw an otherwise clean 997 on the hoist at Cairns Porsche a while ago and Sean pointed out extensive rust underneath, every thread, nut, crevis was full of rust. i couldn't believe my eyes.

If you are allergic to money, buy and race cup car.

On an hour to hour rate, Luxury Yachting looks cheap in comparison....

Could I just wrap it in silver, put my plates on and drive it to the shops...and the odd SMT?
