Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

Here in Oz we trail the world in trends. Whether this USA Hagerty price trend chart is of any relevance here I don't know , but other than some rare models eg turbos , the graph has flattened out across the range. Here is the chart for the 87 911 coupe.

you're right.

Thank you. Never wrong , you know me ;)

An auto 944, looks quite good?

What are these with an auto really like?

Never driven one,  but have been quite happy to point and shoot corners in my auto 924 and just hang on.

Once a gruff chap gets over the "all sports cars must be manuals" and enjoy the renowned Porsche handling , you can look at auto 944s and Boxsters and 991s and...

Yeah I know, just pondering, should wait for my 928...... all my cars need to be auto so I don't have that hang up :)

I would have an auto Boxster, 996, 928, etc in a heart beat......

Pretty tidy 1989 964 C2 with some pretty serious mods - $169k

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-AD-3558070

EDIT: If this is an aussie delivered '89, then maybe it was originally a C4?

I think the seller has put the car in the wrong section (read 3.2 Carrera). 1989 C4 only.

Just seen this on CTS http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/modernclassic2.html

I wonder what astronomical price will be on that. Looks very good & one of the last 3.2 Carrera's

Just called them.

The want $139,995

They also just sold the garnet red C3.2 this week for $84,995.

I told the saleman that I need to have a cup of tea and a lie down.

looks very nice - photos show a sold sticker on windscreen.  Is it sold.....the seller did say it's  incredible value at 169k - maybe someone agreed?

Form a queue here gents, that is one lovely looking automobile.  Late 80's and not blue interior as well!
