It seems all of these early GT3s in 996 and 997 are going to collectors and most will be locked up and held for a long time.....

Thoughts on the current carsales stock?

.1 CS - $296k

.1 CS - $299k

.2 CS - $350k

Very limited supply.  All big prices.

The silver .1 CS listed last month for $249k sold within a couple of days of listing, so presumably went for close to the asking.  The white .2 at Dutton for $300k was a similar story.

Nobody's buying a .1 @ 300k and I doubt anyone's paying 350k for a .2.

The white 7.2 GT3 CS that Porschaden had sold before Xmas for around $360k (that was the asking price and that sold in a couple of days). Only had 18km. It ended up in Brisbane too

That's a strong result,

100%. I am in the market for one but not interested at those prices. $250k for a .1 is about the number. The black one on car sales looks very nice.

Yeah. Assuming a metzger is tracked for 100, max 130 hours it will need a refresh.  At av 150kmh that’s 15000 to 19500 km before the risk will cost way more than the preventative rebuild if it goes wrong.  Just saying…..

porsche engines are really good, that good they last that long. Beyond that one may be optimistic based on my ownership, and tracking them, rebuilding them and research.

Do you guys follow classic.com to watch the trends?

I know it follows the UK and US markets, mostly the US, but there must be some similar trends here, Just a smaller market.
