tazzieman Posted 21May, 2015 Report Share Posted 21May, 2015 Nice. Hopefully the guy sells this and I've just realised a 30% premium in 5 weeks Balanced against the money you've spent on repairs to this and that be honest , it's post-tax money you buy and repair old cars with. Unless you have an inheritance.

Fraz Posted 21May, 2015 Report Share Posted 21May, 2015 Fraz have you bought this yet? Pockets aren't that deep mate. Bang for buck $70-5K buys better cars than a 964.

'Better' is subjective, unless you are referring to a specific measurement - 0-100 time? Power-to-weight? Coefficient of drag? Number of race wins? Here's where it's hard to beat - Driving feel Nostalgia Sound Smell Pride of ownership YMMV poli84

Sound , yeah that's a big one for me. There's nothing like a V8 Maybe better than a flat 6? YMMV Fraz

I'm thinking he was not getting calls at 53, so listed the ad at 43 and then might claim typo when the calls come in. It's worked before........ Common mate, wouldn't u prefer a clapped out SC, 3.2 or a Carrera 3.0 in need of restoration for $60k??? On a serious note, that Cayman is sweet and a absolute bargain!! OZ930 Posted 21May, 2015 Report Share Posted 21May, 2015 Coming on the market soon in Tamworth. Porsche 928, unknown year. My son had a chance meeting, in a car accessory shop, with a guy he believe to be used car salesman. He was looking for something to hide some pitting in the rear wing, amongst other things. Son: "That won't fix it, and it will peel within a few days" The guy: "Once it's sold I don't care" So keep your eyes out for this bargain coming soon. turboT

Flat it down . some matt black and go 911 baiting on the cheap I'm being serious for once. You can even afford it if it goes bang, which if the timing belt is OK, won't happen.
