Whats for sale (in Australia ) and interesting Thread

Recommended Posts

original RHD any porsches are rare. You wont find any in Japan either ;)

I just bought a couple of Non Pcars in Japan for a family member , there are still porsches there ..both LHD and RHD .. some mint and many with rust..not so cheap but you really need to be on the ground an there can be a few bargains  ..most cars there have been clocked ..nearly all the cars get clocked as a matter of practice , they even announce it on auction sheets.. last week was a prime week to buy cars just before their holidays

This came up in the middle of a load of lots and I missed it apparently sub 100.. there were two in these auctions which were not headlined ..as being there ..so most people wouldnt have attended the auctions as it was mainly Rice turbos etc for sale

I think we have unusual scarecity stories here about cars …and the prices to match, although our cars are very very clean in general ….  dont give up on the dream the hunt is the fun.. I think in Aus we have just a bit of a dry lake in general so we tend to say there is no chance in  finding that new fishing spot.

In another area of my car searches again Non Pcar .. As some of you know I have a couple of Astons, only the other day whilst looking for parts , I got pictures of a car , within 50kms of me , that is super rare like in the sub 100's thats just been parked in a garage 25 years .. I have looked for 5 years and holy shit its right under my nose … so dont give up .. just gotta wrestle them from the owners .  Im stalking the guy

Nice plate eh!

Some of the other little beauties there .. and again they just came up out the blue .. I would have bought the lot..

Sorry a little thread hijack but might make you stay onthe possitive side whilst the Aussie BS market continues to talk about rare on every corner…

Im sure your right Tom in some areas and particularly your favorites 930's but not in all the cases/models it just  seems to be the common mantra of many in the Pcar world at the moment that there arent cars , especially the dealers

What colour is that 911 - Nice example

Looks like Dolphin Grey (6410), though the second photo looks like it's got a greenish tint (lighting??).

There was a Radium Green from the 356 which looks a bit similar to the second pic, but I don't think this was ever an option on the 911.

The first I may well now own the third ( it's overpriced by 5000)  was offered to me for free. The second could be hugely fun toy, and it is a manual
